Hello there and yes this is quite an informative site regarding the Medical coding and Billing…..Yes you have emphasized getting certification/Diploma in Medical coding and named some good institues for online training…Well, I wanted to ask is it mandatory to attend take the online course to get certified by the licensing bodies like AHIMA? Will the school provide the certifcation for Diploma courses? Can someone NOT a resident of United States of America take the course and be certified while not in United States? Can I work online for the United states Speciality institues while not in Unites States?
I hope you understand my inquiring? I want to be solid sure before I jump in to take the Diploma/Exam so I can remain eligible for practicing the skill I am gon’a acquire.
Pls also list the licensing bodies which issue the Coding Certificates for my knowledge.
